... Read moreOkay, so you saw my last post about those two Dollar Tree toners I picked up, right? The GlobalBeautyCare Exfoliating Toner and the Cloudberry + CoQ10 Glowing Toner? I've been doing a little digging and even started trying them out, and I have some initial thoughts to share while I wait for your input!
First off, let's talk about why these caught my eye. Dollar Tree skincare can be a hit or miss, but finding toners, especially ones with ingredients like Niacinamide, Peptides, Vitamin C, and CoQ10, for just $1.25 each? That's a deal you almost can't pass up. Both bottles are a decent 4 oz (120 mL), which is a good size to actually see if they make a difference.
The Glowing Exfoliating Toner really intrigued me. It boasts Niacinamide, Peptides, and Vitamin C. If you're into skincare, you know Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is a superstar for minimizing pores, evening skin tone, and strengthening the skin barrier. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps brighten and protect against environmental damage, while peptides are great for supporting collagen production. So, on paper, this one sounds like it could be a real glow-booster, helping with dullness and texture. My first impression is that it feels light and refreshing, with no strong scent. I'm hoping it helps gently exfoliate without irritation.
Then there's the Cloudberry + CoQ10 Glowing Toner. This one is packed with Vitamins A, C, & E, plus CoQ10. Cloudberry is known for being a rich source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids, which are fantastic for hydration and protecting the skin from free radicals. CoQ10 is another powerful antioxidant that can help with anti-aging concerns. This toner seems aimed at nourishing the skin, providing a boost of vitamins, and promoting a healthy, radiant complexion. It also has a very mild, pleasant scent, and feels slightly more hydrating than the exfoliating one.
I've started patch-testing both of them, one on each side of my face, just to see how my skin reacts. It's super important to do this with any new product, especially budget finds, to avoid any unexpected irritation. So far, no redness or tingling, which is a good sign! My hope is that the Exfoliating Toner helps smooth out some texture and bring a bit more brightness, while the Cloudberry + CoQ10 provides that extra hydration and antioxidant punch my skin sometimes craves. I’m really curious to see if these GlobalBeautyCare options can stand up to more expensive toners.
Have any of you already incorporated either of these into your routine? Did you notice a difference in your skin's glow, hydration, or texture? Your opinions are so valuable, so please drop your reviews below!
I’ve tried them both. The cloudberry just broke me out. The other one didn’t do mush but it did add moisture to my skin. Hope this helps!
