As a plus-size girlie, finding outfits that make me feel confident and stylish has always been a bit of a personal fashion project. While I love the stage and the thrill of comedy, my golden doodle Bixby and labradoodle Nelly remind me to slow down and enjoy the simple things. They definitely turn me into a 'nature lover' by dragging me out to explore Michigan's beautiful parks and trails. There’s something so refreshing about a walk surrounded by greenery, breathing in fresh air, and watching them happily sniff every tree. It’s often during these quiet moments with my pups that I get some of my best ideas for jokes or character development. It’s my little reset button from the hustle and bustle. And for those wondering about my husband and our upcoming anniversary, yes, we are high school sweethearts! It feels like a lifetime ago, but also just yesterday. We've literally grown up together, navigating everything from awkward teenage years to building our little family with Bixby and Nelly. It’s a testament to how strong a bond can become when you build it on friendship and shared dreams. It's been an amazing journey, and I’m so excited for all the adventures still to come with him.
