four apps for the girls who get it 🌸

✅ BeFreed

I struggled for SO LONG to just sit down and read a book! Sifting through pages was so tedious (boo) but then I found BeFreed, and it everything changed.

- I can read multiple books a week

- I am ACTUALLY learning and retaining information

- Content is broken down into digestible pieces of information

- There is a HUGE library of information to go through (I just did a deep dive on self improvement)

✅ Habit

This habit tracking app has helped me establish new daily routines with a satisfying way to check off each of your tasks, help yourself build some healthy habits this summer

✅ Libby App

This digital library can be accessed though your library card. There are PLENTY of audio books available, and you can check out up to 20 books at once for up to three weeks (but you can return them early when you finish )

✅ Stoic.

This journal app helped me organize my thoughts daily, and helped me establish some healthy routines along the way. An easy way to begin journaling if you don't know where to start

Any other recommendations? Let me know in the comments 😘

... Read moreNavigating the demands of modern life can be overwhelming, especially for us girls balancing personal growth, careers, and well-being. Finding the right tools to support our self-improvement journey is key, and that's where effective apps come into play. I've discovered a few game-changers that genuinely help with everything from discovering new wellness titles based on my needs to building consistent, healthy habits. Let's talk about finding the perfect book for your well-being. For busy schedules, BeFreed has been a revelation. It tackles the challenge of reading full books by breaking down complex ideas into 'digestible pieces of information'. When I'm looking to do a 'deep dive on self improvement' or explore specific wellness concepts, its 'huge library of information' (boasting over '10,000 bestsellers and new releases') means I can always find something relevant. The app's 'Flash' and 'Deep' reading modes, highlighted in the images showing '16 insights' from books like 'Algorithms to Live By', allow me to absorb crucial knowledge efficiently, saving me 'hours of learning time' and helping me grasp core concepts faster. It's like having a personalized guide to all the wellness insights I need, right at my fingertips. Complementing BeFreed is the Libby App, which acts as my digital library card to a world of free reads. It's incredible for discovering a wide array of books, including many wellness and self-help titles. The ability to check out 'up to 20 books at once for up to three weeks' means I can constantly explore new authors and topics without commitment. Whether I'm in the mood for an audiobook on mindfulness during my commute or an ebook on stress management, Libby provides access to quality content that directly addresses my current needs, all from my local library. Beyond reading, building consistent habits is crucial for overall wellness. That's where the Habit app shines. As a 'girl app' that genuinely understands the need for structured self-care, it's helped me establish new daily routines. Seeing my '7-day reading streak' and tracking '14 finished books' isn't just satisfying; it's a powerful motivator. It transforms abstract goals into tangible achievements, making it easier to stick to practices like daily meditation, exercise, or even just regular self-reflection, which are vital for my mental and physical health. Finally, for mental clarity and emotional well-being, Stoic. has become my go-to journaling app. It offers an 'easy way to begin journaling if you don't know where to start'. In the whirlwind of daily life, taking a few moments to organize my thoughts helps me process emotions, identify patterns, and practice gratitude. This daily ritual, facilitated by Stoic., is instrumental in fostering a healthy mindset and allowing me to proactively address my emotional needs, rather than letting them build up. These apps, used together, create a powerful ecosystem for any girl looking to take charge of her wellness, reading habits, and personal development in a practical, empowering way.
