More December reads!

I still have some that aren’t added, because there’s only so many picture spots 😰

I am working through the “Faith Bold” series which takes up a lot of my reads this month! I also finished the Maze Runner series, finally. I tried way back when but couldn’t get into it. Honestly, the Maze runner still was hard for me to get into, but I liked the rest!

And I’m 🤏🏻 this close to finishing all of the currently available Freida McFadden books. 📚 Brain damage might really be one of my absolute favorites so far.

... Read moreOkay, fellow bookworms, can we just talk about Freida McFadden for a minute? I swear, every time I pick up one of her books, I know I'm in for a wild ride. And 'Brain Damage'? Oh my goodness, it might just be my absolute favorite of hers so far! I’ve been seeing the 'Brain Damage' cover pop up everywhere, and I finally got my hands on it this December. That stark blue background with the silhouette and those brain-like lines… it perfectly sets the tone for the twisted psychological thriller inside. If you're like me and were curious about the 'Brain Damage Freida McFadden cover,' you know exactly what I'm talking about – it’s instantly recognizable and totally intriguing! What I love about McFadden is her ability to craft these incredibly suspenseful narratives that keep you guessing until the very last page. 'Brain Damage' was no exception. I found myself tearing through chapters, constantly trying to piece together the puzzle. It’s one of those books that leaves you a little breathless and totally satisfied. It truly felt like a perfect read for those cozy, dark December nights when you just want to get lost in a gripping story. I remember reading it snuggled up with a blanket, and honestly, the chills weren't just from the cold weather outside! If you've enjoyed 'Brain Damage,' I highly recommend checking out her other works. I also listened to 'The Ex' recently, and that audiobook cover with the compact mirror reflecting a woman's face perfectly captures the domestic suspense vibe. It’s another brilliant example of her mastery of the genre, exploring complex relationships and hidden secrets. I’m so close to finishing all her currently available books, and it's been a fantastic journey discovering each one. Beyond Freida McFadden, my December reading list was packed with variety, which made for such an exciting month. I finally tackled the remainder of 'The Maze Runner' series this December, including 'The Scorch Trials,' 'The Death Cure,' and even the prequel 'The Kill Order.' I'll admit, getting into 'The Maze Runner' initially was a bit of a challenge for me, but by the end, I was completely invested in the dystopian world and its characters. It was a marathon, not a sprint, but so worth it for the sense of accomplishment! Seeing those covers, like the fiery apocalyptic landscape of 'The Kill Order' or the desolate icy scene of 'The Death Cure,' really makes the journey feel epic. And then there's the 'Faith Bold' mystery series by Blake Pierce. I've been working my way through it, and it’s been a really engaging experience. I’ve gone through 'So Normal,' 'So Far Gone,' and 'So Lost' this month, and each one pulled me deeper into the protagonist's world. These books are fantastic for when you want a compelling mystery that's not quite as intense as a psychological thriller but still keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s been a great balance to some of the heavier reads. Overall, my December reads have been a mix of intense thrillers, thrilling dystopian adventures, and engaging mysteries. Whether you’re searching for the iconic 'Brain Damage' Freida McFadden cover that drew me in, or looking for your next gripping series, I hope my recommendations give you some ideas. There’s nothing quite like wrapping up the year with a stack of incredible books, discovering new favorites, and getting lost in their pages. Happy reading, everyone!
