I borrowed this from Hoopla, because @shannell fisher posted about it and it sounded so good, I wanted to read it right away.
The prison healer, is set in Zalindov prison, where Kiva is responsible for the infirmary.
The “rebel queen” is brought into the prison, and Kiva is responsible for keeping her alive. The problem? She’s on the brink of death, but supposed to stand trials by elements. Kiva, will do anything to keep the rebel queen alive, including volunteering as the rebel queens champion.
My thoughts:
I loved it! While I think the ending was slightly predictable, my jaw still dropped a few times throughout.
The main character isn’t whiny or insufferable and I think that automatically gets a star. 😂
