🏈DIY SNACK STADIUM: GAME DAY DISPLAY🏈
When it comes to game day, I am all about the food and snacks. Let me show you how to make the ultimate snack stadium for game day!! Here’s how:
Materials:
2 30x20 inch foam boards
1 poster board
Glue gun
Aluminum Pan
Yard Stick
Scissor/craft knife
Start by cutting all four corners of the foam board to make them round. I used a kitchen plate as a guide. Next center the aluminum foil pan on the foam board. Cut strips that are equal in length and height to the foil pan. Glue the strips around the pan to form a border. Next measure the distance from the edge of the border to the ends of the base and cut 6 strips. Now glue the strips around the pan to form the sections. Add the longer strips to the corners. Next cut strips of poster board that are 4 ½ inches wide and glue on the outside to form the border and you are done. Decorate as you like and fill it with your favorite snacks. We did subs, hot dogs, wings, chips, and more chips. To make the field simply used a combination of dips and piped thin lines of sour cream.
Which team are you rooting for? 🏟️🥳🏈

Hey everyone! Building a DIY SNACK STADIUM is already a game-changer for any gathering, but I've picked up a few extra tricks to make mine an even more epic GAME DAY DISPLAY and truly stand out. If you're looking to elevate your snack game, impress your guests, or even create a cool project, here are some ideas I love! Elevating Your Snack Game: Beyond the Basics While chips, wings, and subs are staples, customizing your snack choices can make a huge difference. For those looking for more specific ideas, especially if you're thinking about popular brands like Pringles or Planters: Creative Chip & Dip Combos: Don't just pour chips into bowls! Arrange different Pringles flavors in neat stacks or fanned out in sections of your stadium for visual appeal. Consider layered dips like a classic 7-layer dip or a creamy spinach artichoke dip (maybe using Hellmann's mayo as a base for extra richness!). You can pipe the sour cream layers for the 'field lines' with precision using a Ziploc bag with the corner snipped. For a fun twist, offer various chips and a 'dip bar' where guests can choose their favorite. Nutty Delights: Planters nuts are perfect for adding texture and a savory crunch. I like to offer small bowls of honey-roasted peanuts, spiced pecans, or even a mixed nut medley in different stadium sections. You could even create a mini 'trail mix' station with various nuts, seeds, and dried fruits for a healthier option. They're also great for those 'gaming snacks' moments when you just need something quick and easy to grab without getting your console messy! Kid-Friendly & Gaming-Friendly Bites: Thinking about snacks for the younger fans or for those intense gaming sessions? Focus on less-messy, easy-to-grab options. Mini corn dog muffins, fruit skewers (think red and white grapes with blueberries for a patriotic touch, reminiscent of baseball snacks!), or veggie sticks with a creamy ranch dip are always winners. Pre-portioned snacks also help keep things tidy. Making Your Stadium Pop: Display & Versatility Tips Beyond the food, how you present your DIY SNACK STADIUM can really make it shine. Thematic Decor: Embrace team spirit! Use napkins, small flags, or even mini goalposts in your team's colors. Small player figures placed strategically can add to the game-day illusion. I sometimes print out a mini scoreboard graphic and tape it to a corner. For the 'field,' a simple green tablecloth underneath (or even green construction paper) can enhance the look. Durability and Versatility (for Projects & Beyond): If you're building a stadium for a school project or want it to last for multiple events, consider reinforcing corners with extra hot glue or even small strips of cardboard or tape. Instead of just glue, you could use stronger adhesive for high-stress areas. The basic stadium concept is incredibly versatile. With different decor and fillings, it could easily transform into a historical diorama for a 'school project' (imagine a Roman Colosseum filled with themed snacks!) or even a festive holiday village display. Think about making certain sections removable or interchangeable for different themes. Crafting a DIY SNACK STADIUM is such a fun experience, and with these extra touches, you'll make every game day (or any day!) unforgettable!
