ISRAEL ✨

traveling to israel was amazing. the scenery is incredibly diverse.

floating in the dead sea is officially off my bucket list, even though i only floated for 5 mins tops before getting out of the water 😂

for those of you that don’t know, the dead sea is superrrrr salty.. shaving before you go in is a terrible idea.

When I first landed, I was buzzing with excitement, thinking, "LET'S GO TO ISRAEL!" for real. The country truly surprised me with how much diverse scenery it packed into one place. Of course, the Dead Sea was a major highlight, and I totally get why it's on everyone's bucket list! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of effortlessly floating on the surface, reading a book or just relaxing. It's truly a surreal experience. But seriously, take it from me: that super high salt content means any little cut, even from shaving, will sting! I made that mistake, so consider yourself warned. Even if you only spend five minutes like I did, it’s an experience you won't forget. Beyond the Dead Sea, the landscapes were just breathtaking. One day you’re by the sea with sailboats in the distance, and the next you're deep in the desert. I even got to see some of those iconic camels – I heard you can ride them, which is definitely an adventure for next time! The arid hills and valleys with small towns nestled in them (like the ones I saw that reminded me of ancient times) were so picturesque. And then there were these beautiful groves of palm trees, adding a touch of green to the varied terrain. Exploring the local culture was also so much fun. I loved wandering through markets, seeing all the vibrant stalls piled high with fresh produce, spices, and dried fruits like dates and figs, plus all sorts of nuts. It’s such a sensory experience! And for anyone planning a trip, be prepared with some Israeli New Shekel – it's always fun to handle the local currency and grab some souvenirs. Overall, my journey to Israel was filled with wonder, a bit of salt, and so many incredible memories. It’s a place everyone should experience at least once!
