Bilingual reflection

Reflection in English

Job stands in the darkest moment of his life. He has lost his children, his possessions, his stability — yet he declares one of the most powerful statements of faith in Scripture:

“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

“In all this, Job did not sin nor blame God.”

This passage reveals something essential:

Tribulation doesn’t create our faith; it exposes it.

When life hits hard, when what we love shakes, when what we understood no longer makes sense that is when our spiritual identity is revealed.

Some complain, distance themselves, and blame God.

Others, like Job, cry… but remain faithful.

The question is not whether we will suffer — life guarantees tribulation.

The question is:

What rises from our heart when pain knocks on our door?

Job teaches us that true faith is not built on what we have, but on who God is.

Faithfulness is not a feeling; it is a posture.

Worship is not a reward for blessings; it is a response to His sovereignty.

When tribulation comes, we can:

Bless God and remain faithful, like Job.

Or complain and drift away, like many do when they don’t understand the process.

But the truth is this:

Tribulation does not destroy the faithful believer; it purifies them.

Testing does not weaken faith; it reveals it.

Pain does not separate the one who loves God; it deepens them.

Job’s response teaches us that faith is proven, not in comfort, but in crisis.

And the believer who blesses God in tribulation becomes a testimony of heaven on earth.

... Read moreFrom my own experiences and reflections, I've found that facing hardships often brings an unexpected clarity to our spiritual lives. Much like Job's story, when everything is lost or shaken—be it stability, loved ones, or possessions—it’s natural to feel overwhelmed and question deeply held beliefs. However, true faith isn't about the absence of pain; it’s about what we do with that pain. In moments of crisis, I’ve noticed two distinct reactions among people: some drift away, feeling abandoned or bitter, while others lean in closer to their faith. This differentiation mirrors the biblical reflection on Job, whose faith wasn't contingent on his circumstances but rooted firmly in who God is. Maintaining this kind of faith requires a conscious decision—a posture rather than an emotion. It means embracing worship and praise not because life is easy or blessings abound, but as a recognition of the sovereign mystery and goodness of God. I've learned that acknowledging grief, while simultaneously choosing to bless and trust, can lead to a profound spiritual purification. Moreover, tribulation serves as a clearer mirror reflecting our true spiritual condition, revealing either a fragile faith or one that is purified and strengthened. This revelation is not just a theory; it transforms how we relate to others and ourselves. Enduring faith amidst suffering becomes a beacon of hope and testimony for others, showing that heaven’s peace can exist even amid earth's storms. Ultimately, Job’s response invites us to see suffering not as a punishment but as a refining process. Each trial faced with faith becomes an opportunity for growth, an unfolding of deeper trust, and a closer union with the Divine. The journey is deeply personal, often filled with tears and struggles, but it can also be marked by resilience and spiritual richness that few blessings alone can impart.
