Chores for toddlers

Though it may slow you down, it's important to include kids in chores from a young age to teach them how to do chores, why it's important, and to set a precedent of doing chores so they are less likely to despise chores when they're older.

Kitchen

•Wipe up their own spills (with help)

•Rinse their dishes after eating, Sweeping with a small broom.

•Help with cooking and preparing food (with close supervision)

•Learn to help put dishes in the dishwasher (or help hand wash dishes)

Living/play room

•Pick up their own toys

•Help vacuum the floors, especially with a small vacuum.

Laundry

•Put dirty laundry into the washer and help hand you clean laundry to fold.

•Put their own clean laundry into drawers

•Begin learning to fold smaller pieces of laundry and learn to sort and put away their own laundry.

Other

•Dust with a dust rag

•Wipe baseboards with a damp cloth

•Throw away trash

•Help clean windows

•Wipe down the shower walls

Toddlers can be included in most chores (as long as it's safe). They typically love to be included and it is good for them to learn to help

Disclaimer: I'm not saying that they should be able to do these on their own. It's about teaching them to do the chores by doing them together.
