Social Security 360yrs, it’s older than our nation

I would love to get rid of all career politicians. Especially the ones that have 156% on their stock portfolio since assuming office. Lot of dirt in the government. That career path is a honeypot for sociopaths.

I don't know what this table proves other than they are still in the DB. Let's see this same chart with an added field that shows how many are still getting checks, i'd be interested in that.

If people are cashing the checks of those that have passed, its fraud and subject to criminal charges. Not good. Needs to be cleaned up right away.

... Read moreSocial Security, established over 360 years ago, serves as a critical safety net for millions of Americans. Its longevity, however, has led to numerous challenges that must be addressed to maintain its efficacy. Recent discussions focus on the transparency of beneficiaries, particularly concerning those who have passed away. Reports indicate that there are significant numbers of checks issued to deceased individuals, raising serious options about the potential for fraudulent claims. Understanding the statistics behind Social Security is crucial; it provides a snapshot of age distribution among beneficiaries, illustrating how many people are relying on these funds weekly. One key data point shows that about 4.7 million people aged 100-109 are still receiving benefits, indicating a need for policies that adapt to our aging population. Policymakers face the challenge of ensuring the system is not exploited while still honoring those who depend on it. It becomes increasingly vital to implement monitoring systems that prevent fraudulent activities and ensure that government resources are allocated efficiently. The solution may involve legislative reform focusing on both protection for the vulnerable and stringent checks against abuse. These conversations shape the future of Social Security as an institution crucial to America's social fabric.

These numbers don't make any sense because the posted chat doesn't have any labels. Social Security is only around 90 yrs old. Please clarify.
