I used to cringe seeing pictures of me as a drinker.
That glass you see there in the top left pic, that was my crutch. Ice cold Chardonnay followed by Tequila when I ran out, always passing joints in between.
I was a Mom then. ‘Till recently, even after all the self-healing work I’d done, I’d still want to vomit when reminded about the ways I self-sabotaged the years of early parenting, but recently something shifted.
This version of me now sees how far I’ve come.
The toxins I gave up, the neuroplasticity and quantum embodiment I’ve created have all brought me to this Now 🪷
The gratitude I hold for now Being present with my teens making up for my flaws by apologizing and reminding them I’m fully here now…for them and myself.
I’m not perfect by any means; a work in progress always.
What I Am? Just that. I Am.
Navigating the ebbs and flows of life to break cycles, build a legacy and sooth my soul to show you that you are not alone.
A life worth living in this game of epic challenges and beautiful disasters building you up one moment at a “time” to live in your truth- whatever that may look like for you.

... Read moreMany people who struggle with addiction often carry feelings of guilt and regret, especially when reflecting on the impact of their past behavior on themselves and their families. This story highlights a powerful example of self-awareness and healing, demonstrating that recovery is not just about abstaining from substances but about embracing a full transformation of mind, body, and spirit.
The author’s journey began with recognizing the harmful crutches of alcohol and substance use—ice-cold Chardonnay, tequila, and marijuana were coping mechanisms used to navigate early parenting challenges. It's important to acknowledge that addiction is often rooted in deeper emotional pain and trauma. The work of self-healing, including inner and trauma healing, is crucial to break destructive cycles.
Neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself—plays a key role in recovery. By consciously changing thought patterns and behaviors, individuals can create new neural pathways that support healthier choices and emotional resilience. Combined with quantum embodiment, which integrates mind-body awareness and energy work, healing becomes holistic and transformative.
The gratitude expressed for being present with her teens today underscores the value of repairing relationships and owning past flaws with humility and love. This approach helps to build a new legacy and demonstrates to others that healing is possible at any stage. The author’s humility, emphasizing being a "work in progress" and simply "I Am," resonates with many on similar paths.
