The message of staying grounded in December is a vital reminder to shift focus from material desires to inner peace and gratitude.  Gratitude is not just a feel-good practice but an evidence-based pillar for self-healing and ascension. Embracing gratitude helps reset our perspective, encouraging appreciation for fundamental needs such as food, shelter, and water. The statement from the original post—"If you have food, shelter and water, you are safe"—is a powerful affirmation to breathe in and internalize, fostering a sense of security and calm.  In addition, the history behind many holiday symbols enriches our experience of the season. For instance, the Christmas tree, rooted in ancient traditions and biblical symbolism as the "Tree of Knowledge," represents resilience and hope. Understanding that many current customs like gift exchanges and decorations gained popularity post-Great Depression and World War II shows how cultural practices adapt to human emotional needs. This awareness can shift our celebrations from commercialism towards meaning and connection.  Stress commonly spikes during December, triggering core wounds and dis-ease. One way to combat this is by honoring your energy and humanity through heartfelt actions rather than succumbing to commercial pressures. Homemade gifts or meaningful gestures resonate with higher vibrational energy exchanges, fostering genuine connection and joy.  Engaging in mindful practices such as the upcoming "Awaken Thy Gratitude" mini masterclass can deepen your relationship with yourself and your season. It offers an opportunity to consciously tap into your worth and abundance—beyond material possessions—ushering in healing and clarity.  This December, let the focus be on gratitude, presence, and heartfelt connection. By grounding yourself, you not only enhance your wellbeing but also bring more light and hope into your holiday experience, echoing the ancient celebrations of rebirth and renewal. Stay tuned for the masterclass to learn practical ways to apply these principles and fully embrace the spirit of the season.
