Can I share My Heart For A Sec? 🌸
I can be in a full conversation and my mind be somewhere else. I know I’m not the only one. You can love God with all that’s within you, aim to dot every “i” and cross every “T”….but you can’t dodge life and some states of it can put you in a place that feels impossible to get out of. But…feelings lie….
And it’s possible.
Can I share my heart for a sec?
.
.
I never thought id be afraid to give my heart to Jesus.
He Knows me.
And He knows that I know that my heart is wicked and dirty.
I don’t want to give Him that.
Something so wrong and wrecked.
Hesitant while simultaneously knowing He is the only one who “Perfects”.
But I’m afraid.
And maybe I find comfort in my fears.
I haven’t been free for a while now if I’m honest.
Slow heal.
My flesh has been ruling the scene
And though I’m tired of the replay
I’d be lying if I say I haven’t found safety in the delay…
Or at least that’s the catch 22 the enemies hit me with.
He offered and knowing I know better I leaned in to the whisper…
Knowing before hand I’d fall as soon as I lend my ear to consider.
Does God know I miss Him?

Sharing my heart and faith struggles has always been a deeply personal journey, and reading this reminds me how common the wrestling with fear and doubt can be. I've often found myself feeling unworthy or 'too broken' to truly give my heart to Jesus, even though part of me knows He sees beyond those imperfections to the real me inside. It's reassuring to realize that Jesus's love isn't about perfection but about transformation and understanding. In my own experience, the slow healing process mentioned hits home—it's not instant, and sometimes it feels like we're stuck in the same emotional patterns. Yet, there is comfort in knowing that this 'delay' or struggle isn't the end, but part of walking with faith. Like the author points out, feelings can lie, and even when our emotions suggest otherwise, there’s a greater hope we can lean into. One thing that really resonated is the idea of finding safety in fear. I’ve noticed that sometimes fear can become a barrier that protects us from facing deeper pain or change. But once you begin to lean in, even reluctantly, to God’s whisper and love, it opens up a path toward healing and freedom. It’s a challenging but beautiful experience to be fully known and still fully accepted—a theme powerfully conveyed in the shared verses and reflections. For anyone on a similar journey, I encourage leaning into your faith community, embracing transparency, and allowing yourself to be vulnerable with God and others. The hashtags like #healinginchrist and #transparent point to how sharing honestly with others can be both healing and empowering. Remember, the journey isn’t about instant perfection but about gradual growth, fueled by the love and grace that Jesus offers unconditionally.
