Party food
What type of food do you make for parties? I’ve run out of ideas and I don’t want to make hamburger/hot dogs or get pizza.
We’re having a party for my baby girls 2nd birthday here in a few weeks and I’m stumped on what to make. We typically have around 50-60 people show up for our parties. I’m open to any and all food suggestions. Also, she’s not a picky eater so she will eat anything. It doesn’t have to be super kid friendly.

Planning a party can be both exciting and challenging, especially when it comes to food. If you're seeking alternatives to traditional options like hamburgers and pizza, consider a range of creative appetizers and dishes that can cater to a large crowd. For a birthday party, finger foods are always a hit, as they allow guests to mingle while enjoying their food. Some great ideas include mini sliders with various fillings, vegetable platters with hummus, or colorful fruit skewers. You might also want to serve some delightful bite-sized desserts like cupcakes or cake pops that are easy for little hands to enjoy. If you're open to international flavors, consider making spring rolls, stuffed grape leaves, or a taco bar where guests can assemble their own tacos with assorted fillings and toppings. Don’t forget about beverages! A fun mocktail station where kids can mix their own drinks can be a memorable addition, along with water and juice options. Remember, the goal is to provide a variety of choices that cater to different tastes. By thinking outside the box and incorporating a mix of playful, flavorful dishes, you can create a memorable culinary experience for all your guests at the party!
