Why my husband and I use the Life 360 App

It all started when I was doing a move out clean for an elderly lady a few months ago. I cleaned her apartment after she moved into the retirement home. I was scrubbing the shower when I lost my foot and fell into the tub. I hit my head bad. I had a scary realization that if I were to have done worse than my husband wouldn’t know where to look for me and I would have waited a long time before someone found me. That wasn’t a thought I wanted to deal with!

My husband and I don’t have trust issues whatsoever. When I tell him I’m going to clean for someone he knows that’s where I am. But the safety issue of “what if something happens and I’m away from my phone?” Startled him too when I brought it up. So I downloaded this app! We love it. Sure we tease eachother like “what are you doing at your mom and dads?” Stalking texts throughout the day but we laugh it off. We get notified whenever one of us leaves a location and moves on to the next. Honestly, it’s helped me feel safer at home when I’m alone. (Sometimes he just comes barging in the bedroom door and it gives me a heart attack) because it lets me know if I’m home alone or not :) it’ll also be good when our son is older so that we can help him locate his phone or make sure he’s somewhere safe when he’s out.

I used to think this kind of thing was an invasion of privacy but once I got married I realized it just gives us peace of mind. If you have a controlling partner, maybe don’t recommend it. But it’s perfect for a healthy relationship. #safety #life360 #notsponsored
