date ideas pt 2!
hey besties! here’s some more date ideas! these aren’t necessarily “budget friendly” but they’re definitely worth it.
1- pumpkin patch- this is definitely a super fun fall time activity, even if you don’t do all the activities they offer it’s fun to just walk around and eat apple cider donuts
2- getting ice cream- this is a more affordable option! i have a huge sweet tooth so i love going out for dessert rather than actual food
3- christmas markets- this is a more seasonal date but it’s definitely worth the wait! there’s something so magical about christmas time and walking around and seeing all the different booths and drinking hot chocolate
4- gingerbread houses- this is super cute to do while watching christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate. they also have gingerbread houses for different holidays! i’ve seen spooky ones, easter ones, and even some for día de muertos! you don’t have to wait until christmas time to build a gingerbread house :)
5- concerts- this doesn’t have to be expensive!! one of my favorite things to do with my bf is to go see local bands and artists! that way we get to discover new music and not spend a ton of money
6- apple picking- i definitely recommend this one! the apple orchard by me also offers sunflower picking and a corn maze so i think it’s definitely worth going
7- puzzles- this is fun depending on the person😭 my bf isn’t a huge puzzle fan but he was surprisingly into it! we set up a bunch of snacks and binge watched a bunch of shows while doing this and it was really fun
8- lakeside picnic- something about being around water and nature just makes me feel so at peace, i love that there’s so many scenic lakes by me and this is a date that i would never get tired of
9- building legos- this can be expensive depending on the set. the succulent one was about 50 dollars which isn’t too too bad but it was so worth it!
10- taking trips- trips don’t have to break the bank! one of my favorite things to do is spending the weekend in the city! i’m close to chicago and sometimes just feeling like ur in a different environment is so fun and i would definitely recommend this to anyone who lives near a major city
When it comes to planning memorable dates, creativity is key. Seasonal activities like visiting a pumpkin patch in the fall or exploring vibrant Christmas markets provide the perfect backdrop for romance. Additionally, consider indulging in sweet treats with a trip to your local ice cream shop or making gingerbread houses together, which is not only festive but also fun for any holiday. For music lovers, attending concerts doesn't have to break the bank; look for local gigs to discover new talents while supporting up-and-coming artists. Moreover, outdoor dates can be incredibly enriching. Apple picking in the fall or enjoying a lakeside picnic during summer are great ways to connect while being surrounded by nature's beauty. If you're looking for something cozy, building puzzles or creating Lego projects at home can lead to fun and laughter, perfect for bonding. Lastly, don't forget the thrill of exploration; weekend trips to nearby cities can refresh your routine and add excitement to your relationship. With these ideas, your date nights are bound to be filled with fun and wonderful memories!
