It’s like saying, ‘Come in, God, I want You involved in this.’ Submission is a big one, and it ties back to 'Your will be done.' It’s about letting go of my own plans and trusting that God’s plan is always better, even when I don’t understand it. It's a daily surrender. For Provision, I talk to God about my daily needs – not just food and shelter, but emotional strength, wisdom for decisions, or even patience. He cares about the details! Reconciliation is such a vital step. This is where I confess my mistakes and ask for forgiveness, but also consciously choose to forgive others who might have hurt me. It’s amazing how much lighter you feel after this. Then, Sanctification. I ask God to help me grow, to become more like Jesus, and to live a life that honors Him. It’s a prayer for inner transformation. Protection is about asking Him to guard me (and my loved ones) from temptation, from harm, and from evil influences. It’s a reminder that we’re not alone in facing life’s challenges. Finally, I end with a Conclusion, often just a heartfelt 'Amen,' trusting that He has heard me and will act according to His perfect will. If you're a beginner, just pick one or two of these steps to focus on each day. Don't feel pressured to have long, eloquent prayers. What matters is showing up and having an honest conversation.
