halloween costume ideas for couples🖤
hey guys!
wanted to jump on and share me and my girlfriends halloween costume this year! this was so fun and was a total hit! the best thing about this costume is that it was super easy to put together and super comfortable throughout the night!!
here are some basic pointers to get the look!!
supples used:
- yellow raincoat- Harbor Freight Tools (ik who would’ve thought right haha) -$10
- red puff buttons- Joann’s- so i originally got already pre made round puff balls but they weren’t large enough for the look i was going for! sooo instead i used a red thin boa and made the buttons myself! it was super easy to make, i just swirled the pieces of boa after cutting them and hot glued it onto my shirt! it stayed the whole night so perfectly!
- white tutu- amazon-$16
- white tulle collar and glove sleeves- Walmart- $7
let me know if y’all try this fit/ what costumes did you guys do this year!!!
have a spooky halloween 🎈 🎃

Hey everyone! Inspired by our Pennywise and Georgie duo costume, I wanted to dive deeper into why iconic pair costumes are such a blast for Halloween and offer some more ideas for your next spooky season. Our Pennywise look, complete with the dramatic "clown makeup," a white tutu, and those distinct red puff buttons, paired with the yellow raincoat for Georgie, was a huge hit, and it proves you don't need to break the bank or spend weeks crafting to create something memorable. The best part? It was comfy, just like the original post mentioned! If you're anything like me, you're always on the hunt for duo Halloween costumes for best friends, couples, or even just fun dynamic duos that will get everyone talking. While our Pennywise and Georgie was a perfect blend of creepy and iconic, there are so many other fantastic options out there, whether you're aiming for funny, scary, or just plain clever. More Iconic Duo Costume Ideas to Get You Started: Classic Movie & TV Pairs: Think about unforgettable characters like Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction (super easy with a white shirt, black pants, and a bob wig for Mia!). Or how about Mario and Luigi? A few colored shirts, overalls, and hats, and you're good to go. For something a bit more nostalgic, consider Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World – flannels, beanies, and a guitar can pull this off instantly. The key is choosing characters that are instantly recognizable, just like our red balloon-wielding Pennywise and the brave kid in the yellow raincoat. Funny & Punny Duos: These are always crowd-pleasers! How about a "Salt and Pepper" shaker duo? Or maybe "Ketchup and Mustard" for a hilarious food-themed pair. You can even get creative with wordplay, like "French Kiss" (one person dressed as a mime, the other as a Hershey's Kiss). These often involve basic clothing and some simple props, making them relatively last-minute friendly. Characters with Distinctive Props: The original article highlighted the importance of props like the red puff buttons on the Pennywise costume and the yellow raincoat for Georgie. Other iconic characters can be recognized by a single item: think Waldo and Wenda (striped shirts and glasses), or even a simple "Angel and Devil" pairing with readily available wings and horns. For a truly unique touch, consider a "Medusa and Petrified Victim" where one person is adorned with snakes (like a creative use of fake blood or green makeup for a reptilian look) and the other is frozen in place. Last-Minute Duo Costumes You Can Whip Up: Sometimes Halloween sneaks up on us! Don't fret if you're scrambling for ideas. Many "last minute costume ideas female" or general duo options can be pulled from your closet: Robber & Bag of Money: Black and white striped shirts, black masks (easily made from fabric), and a pillowcase with a dollar sign drawn on it. Simple, effective, and you can add a "fake blood" accessory for a darker twist if you want! Tourists: Hawaiian shirts, fanny packs, cameras around the neck, and maybe some map-reading expressions. Perfect for a casual, funny look. Ghost & Ghoul: Classic sheets are always an option, but you can elevate it with some creative makeup, dark eye circles, or even a "lace gloves" accessory to give your ghost a vintage feel. When creating any costume, remember the original post's advice: comfort is key! And don't be afraid to get creative with DIY elements, whether it's making your own "red puff buttons" or applying dramatic "clown makeup." Halloween is all about having fun and celebrating with your favorite people, so choose a duo that makes you both excited!
