Ways I live sustainably🌟
While it may not seem like much, here are a few of my favorite ways to live sustainably that stack up on impact!
🎁 Reused Wrapping:
Whenever I get a gift bag and tissue paper or a box with packing paper, I save it for later to reuse! My sister turned 13 recently and I reused an old gift bag and some old paper and decorated with a gold marker and some stickers to wrap all of her presents! Such a cute and free way to give gifts, she loved the stickers and I didn’t spend anything since I had them lying around!
🛍️Buying Second Hand:
There are so many ways to buy things that already exist from thrift stores to apps and you can typically find things way cheaper! I’ve gotten so many things for my apartment from goodwill like my side table, colored glassware, wicker baskets, etc. I love using Mercari for video games, perfumes, and even selling stuff I don’t wear or use!
☕️Giving Things Multiple Purposes:
After making my coffee, I dried the grounds and used them for my plants! I’ve been saving my old jeans so I can make a vest out of them👖 Before throwing something out I love thinking what’s another way I could use this? Another idea is reusing bread ties for cord management, there are so many different ways to reuse items!

i love this! i also reuse bags but i also started making eco bricks! its where you take a plastic container like a jug of milk and stuff it with small plastics and then when its full you can donate it to a company that will use it to build houses.
