Ban phones at concerts?
It honestly ruins the vibe when half the crowd is watching the show through their phone screens. Even worse when people record the big TV screens instead of the actual performance.
Here’s my idea: every ticket should include a digital recording of the concert, and phone recordings should be banned. That way people can live in the moment without blocking everyone’s view. If you really need to post for clout, maybe you pay extra for a Wi-Fi key — not ruin the experience for the rest of us.
I feel like people don’t even rewatch their shaky phone recordings anyway. But they would watch a pro digital recording. Live music would still sell out — people go for the experience, not just the footage.
Would you support this or is it way too extreme?

I like bringing a digital camera if the venue allows. I feel like it captures the vibe a lot better than a phone ever could
