my favorite dress is back😭😭 Abercrombie haul 🙌🏻💭
All my sizes are on my story 🫶🏼
Okay, so I just did a massive Abercrombie try-on haul, and I'm bursting to share my honest evaluation, especially since a long-lost favorite dress has finally been re-released! If you're looking to evaluate Abercrombie on women's dresses and other pieces, you're in the right place. I'm breaking down everything from fit and fabric to value and versatility, giving you all the details from my personal experience. First up, the star of the show: my absolute favorite Abercrombie dress. I literally wore the old version for years – on long-haul flights, for date nights, just everyday, and even through my pregnancy! So, you can imagine my excitement when they finally brought out a newer version. As someone who’s 5'10", I always appreciate a good "tall version," and this one doesn't disappoint. The fit is adorable, and I truly love it. This time, it's part of their "bra-free collections," which means it has a built-in bra or cups. While normally I might be anti-built-in-bra, being in a breastfeeding season right now means I have to wear a bra regardless, so this feature actually works for me! It’s super convenient, and you can even take out the cups if that's not your vibe. It's truly a perfect kind of everyday dress for spring and summer. Beyond that iconic dress, I tried on a few other pieces. There was a cute crepe dress that I thought might be a "dissh dupe." Its shape was really nice, though the material was a bit odd initially. It comes in a ton of different colors, which is a definite plus. Then there was another dress where the material was completely different – so much softer! I absolutely adored this one, despite it being a bit short for my height. I feel like if you're shorter than me, this would be an absolute dream dress for sunny days. Moving onto the bottoms, I tried on some satin trousers, also in tall, obviously. I instantly loved these trousers! They are 100% staying in my wardrobe. I personally prefer to wear them kind of low-waisted, but they can easily be styled high-waisted too, and they're still long enough. The material is fantastic. I paired them with a floaty and flowy top that felt really fun. They also do it in brown (or black, depending on the colorway) so you can match it however you want. While super soft, I didn't find this particular top to be the "most flattering" on me, so it wasn't a keeper. I also fell in love with a cardigan! It's from their heritage collection, which is great because it means they're bringing back classic things. This cardigan is so warm and cozy, and I loved the matchy-matchy vibe it created with some other pieces. Lastly, I tried a henley, but sadly, I don't think I'll keep it. I just wish it was full length. I'm not really a layering person in that style, and I don't think I'd wear it enough to justify keeping it, even though it is really cute! Overall, my Abercrombie try-on haul was a success, especially with my favorite dress being back! Their focus on different materials, including softer ones, and the return of their heritage collection with thoughtful features like the built-in bra, really shows they're listening to customers. For women's dresses, I'd say they've got some winners, especially if you consider the tall options available. Always check the material tags, as they can vary wildly, but the fits are generally fantastic.
