because the apples were already boiled and cooked all I did was add butter and melt the butter down add a bit more cinnamon and brown sugar you could do that one to taste if you want more sweet add more if you don't then don't
potato mashed it didn't like how clumpy that was so I waited for it to completely cool and added it to the blender put it in a cute little jar thing about a boom and you're done applesauce

Making homemade applesauce is a fantastic way to reduce food waste, especially when using apples that have already been cooked or boiled, such as leftover apples from making apple cider. This not only saves time but also intensifies the flavor of the applesauce. When preparing your applesauce, melting butter in the pan before adding the apples can enrich the taste and create a smooth texture. Cinnamon and brown sugar are classic spices that perfectly complement the natural sweetness of apples; however, these can be adjusted according to your preference, allowing more brown sugar for a sweeter sauce or less for a more tart, natural flavor. A common challenge when making applesauce is achieving the right consistency. Using a potato masher may result in a clumpy texture, so it’s ideal to wait until the mixture cools down completely before blending it in a food processor or blender to get that smooth, creamy finish. Storing your homemade applesauce in a cute jar not only preserves freshness but also makes it perfect for gifting or as a charming addition to your kitchen pantry. This applesauce can be enjoyed on its own, added to oatmeal, or used as a topping for pancakes and desserts. Don’t hesitate to experiment by adding other spices like nutmeg or vanilla extract to customize your applesauce further. This simple recipe is a wonderful way to celebrate fall flavors and enjoy a wholesome, homemade treat with family and friends.
