Disneyland snacks are basically an attraction of their own 😂🏰✨

I tried quite a few on my latest trip, and of course some were definitely more worth it than others 👀

And while I’ll happily give you my snack recommendations, I can also help with the whole Disneyland trip. Where to stay, which tickets make the most sense, park strategy, dining, Lightning Lane, and all the little details that can make a big difference.

... Read moreDuring my recent Disneyland visit, I was eager to explore not just the rides but also the famed snacks that many guests rave about. One thing I learned quickly is that not all snacks offer the same experience or value, so choosing wisely can greatly enhance your trip. For example, the Chicken Teriyaki Skewer at Bengal Barbecue left me wanting more—while tasty, I found it a bit pricey at $8.49, not quite justifying the cost for the portion size. In contrast, the Mickey-shaped beignets at the Mint Julep Bar were a delightful treat, fluffy and sweet, which truly felt like a special Disney indulgence. Personally, I always find that anything Mickey-shaped enhances the magic of the treat! Another snack highlight was the Cookie Butter Churro Sundae from The Golden Horseshoe. I’m still dreaming about it—it perfectly combines the classic churro crunch with creamy, sweet ice cream topped with cookie butter, making it a must-have for dessert lovers. I also tried the Breakfast Chimichanga from Ship to Shore Marketplace priced at $8.99; its combination of savory and a bit of spice made for a satisfying breakfast option. Meanwhile, Maurice's Treats offered Garlic Cheesy Pretzel Bread which I rated a solid 10/10 for its flavor and texture—easily sharable and perfect for those who love savory snacks. On the beverage front, the Boysen Apple Freeze was refreshingly fruity and a great way to cool down, while the Proton Punch at Pym Test Kitchen surprisingly didn’t win me over due to its berry puree flavor. When planning your Disneyland snack adventure, it helps to mix sweet and savory treats and consider if a snack is worth the price based on your appetite and interests. And while snacks are a fun part of the experience, don’t forget to plan the whole day carefully—from where to stay to choosing the right tickets and using Lightning Lane effectively, these smart choices can maximize your enjoyment and minimize wait times.
