While feelings of nostalgia for the physical changes are common, recognizing the empowerment that comes with pregnancy is key. New mothers often reminisce about their baby bumps, which symbolize the growth of new life and the journey of motherhood. Many crave the comfort that comes from remembering their bellies, as it reminds them of the challenges faced and the strength gained. Community discussions around topics like #pregnancy and #babybump offer support and a platform to share such sentiments. Engaging with others can help foster connections and normalize these feelings. As you navigate this transition, seeking out stories and experiences from fellow mothers can be invaluable. Don't hesitate to bond over shared memories, as everyone processes these changes uniquely. Embracing the journey of motherhood is not just about physical changes but also about the bond created with your child. Cherishing those moments can help guide you forward in your postpartum journey.

Same! I miss so much about being pregnant. After 7 years of infertility I cherished all the moments, good and bad. The kicks I probably miss the most. It was such a neat thing to me and a reminder each time that I finally had what I’d been dreaming about.
