Things I’ve done as a 2026 Bride
Being in my bridal era has been a bit stressful, so I’ve taken some time to do things unrelated to planning.
First thing I did as soon as I got engaged was keep my ring box. And man am I glad I did, because just a few days ago while I was tanning I needed a place to put my ring, earrings, and bracelet and it was perfect to keep it all in there.
Second thing I did was buy 2 wedding planners (which might seem crazy but hear me out) I wanted to have a planner for just me and my fiancé. One that we could jot down information, contact info, random stuff if needed. And my second one is for my MOH who will have all the final information with no random things in there.
And lastly I got a super cute (and affordable) sweatshirt that says “wifey” on it. It’s super stereotypical, but who cares! I’M GETTING MARRIED! And honestly it’s so cute, and comfy, and I can’t wait to wear it and show everyone!
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but taking time for yourself is essential. After getting engaged, keeping your engagement ring in a dedicated box can protect it while adding a personal touch to your bridal journey. Furthermore, organizing your wedding-related thoughts in planners tailored to you and your MOH can enhance communication and ease stress throughout planning. Choosing a comfortable and stylish sweatshirt with ‘wifey’ can be a delightful reminder of your upcoming nuptials. Many brides find that expressing their excitement through fun clothing helps alleviate the stress of wedding planning. Remember, every moment leading up to your wedding day is special, and embracing the journey makes for unforgettable memories. Alongside these personal touches, consider creating a hashtag for your wedding journey to engage with friends and family on social media, sharing tips and receiving encouragement along the way.
