i want to start a vlog channel!

i really want to start posting vlogs on youtube! should i buy one of those $50 vlog cameras off of TikTok shop to get myself started, or should i splurge on a really good quality vlogging camera that’ll cost wayyyy more $$$.

i definitely don’t have $300 lying around to buy a new vlog camera all the time, so it would be an investment. long term, i can see it being worth it. i can also wait and see if more money making opportunities come after beginning my channel and use that money to upgrade my camera??

i’ve also heard of people just using their iphones to vlog. so i could do that until i can afford a high quality camera. i just feel like having a camera in my hand will make me want to vlog more. i’ve also heard the editing apps for vlogs, like Final Cut Pro, are expensive!! Final Cute Pro is $300!!! i need to find an editing app for my phone that isn’t tiktok lol.

does anyone know any good video editing apps for iphones?

i’m really excited to start my channel!! i loved youtube as a kid, and still do lollll i hope everything goes well for me!!✨🥰💋😚🫶🏼

... Read moreStarting a vlog channel can be an exciting journey! With the rise of platforms like YouTube, many aspiring content creators are confused about the best equipment to use. While some suggest opting for a $50 vlog camera from TikTok shop for beginners, investing in a high-quality vlogging camera can be worthwhile in the long run. However, if budget is tight, using an iPhone is a perfectly valid choice. Many vloggers successfully produce engaging content using just their smartphones. When it comes to editing, apps like iMovie or Adobe Premiere Rush can serve as affordable alternatives to expensive software like Final Cut Pro. These apps offer user-friendly features that can help new vloggers create polished videos without breaking the bank. Additionally, planning your content and utilizing different angles can make your vlogs more dynamic and captivating. As you gain experience, you might discover specific niches or themes that resonate with your audience, paving the way for more growth and opportunities in the future. Engaging with your viewers by asking for feedback and responding to comments can also build a strong community around your channel. Remember, consistency is key in vlogging, so stay motivated and enjoy the process of sharing your journey with the world!
