How to redeem a “rotting” day

I don't know about you, but I'm not one of those girlies who needs a "rotting" day. In fact, I hate myself if I sleep past 9am on the weekend. But it does occasionally happen where for one reason or another I blink and it feels like the day has gotten away from me. When that happens these are the things I do to "redeem" myself. They are small, but as I'm getting into bed I feel like I've accomplished something.

As soon as I get my booty out of bed I...

-Brush my teeth

-Make my bed

-Change

-Eat

These are small but they make me feel like the rotting is officially over

Next I need to move my body or else I know I will never sleep the next night. That can look like...

- A workout

- A long walk

- A bike ride

Then of course I shower.

And in the evening which usually sneaks up on me, I make sure to...

-Tidy the entire apartment, I don't want to see the proof of my rot the next day

-Make dinner

-Do full skin care before bed so I don't wake up flaky

-Try to limit screentime before bed bc that's usually the culprit for my day of rot
