My 8 year transformation

It's easy to see someone who works out a lot and think "its easier for them" or "they have always been like that". But I assure you that's not my story. I was the kid picked last in gym class. I didnt own a pair of sneakers from 14-24. If someone threw me something, my hand eye coordination was so bad that I wouldn't try to catch it, I'd just duck. My fitness journey is ongoing and 8 years in I still feel like I have so much I want to do and change. To make a real change with your mind and body takes commitment, patience, and perserverence. But don't let that intimidate you from starting. If you start now you'll feel better in just a few weeks and start to see small results in a few months. And then one day, a few years from now, you wont recoginize the person you were in early 2024.

... Read moreIt's so easy to scroll through social media and see amazing "3 month transformations" and feel like you're falling behind. I totally get it! When I first started my journey, I also hoped for super fast results. But let me tell you, results don't come with 2-day delivery... they took years! My own 8-year journey taught me that true, lasting change is a marathon, not a sprint. Many of you might be searching for how to get a "toned thick woman" or a "fit healthy curvy body." And guess what? It's absolutely achievable, but it's not about crash diets or endless cardio. For me, embracing strength training was a game-changer. Building muscle is key to that "toned" look and helps shape a healthy, curvy physique. Don't be afraid of lifting weights! It won't make you "bulky" unless that's your specific goal; instead, it sculpts your body in incredible ways. When people ask about my "3 months gym progress female," I always tell them that 3 months is a fantastic start! In that time, you can build consistent habits, learn proper form, and start feeling stronger. You might even see some initial changes in your energy levels and how your clothes fit. But to truly transform, like my journey from YEAR 1 to now, you need to commit for the long haul. Remember, it took consistency & most of all patience. I definitely had setbacks along the way – injuries, motivation dips, life getting in the way. That's why having help from coaches & physical therapists was invaluable for me. They guided me through plateaus and helped me recover safely. Don't underestimate the power of professional guidance if you can access it. They can tailor a plan to help you achieve a "realistic fit female body" that's healthy and strong for *you*. One specific goal I remember working towards was mastering a 20kg Turkish Get-Up. It sounds simple, but this 20kg TGU took 2 years! That's two years of consistent practice, patience, and gradual progression. It perfectly illustrates that some goals take significant time and effort. Don't be discouraged if your progress isn't linear or as fast as you expect. Every small victory, every consistent workout, every healthy meal adds up over time. Focus on getting stronger, improving your endurance, and feeling good in your skin. That's the real transformation.

this was me before I locked in… 2026 me doesn’t play anymore. Consistency > motivation. I stopped waiting to feel ready and just showed up, even on bad days. That’s what changed everything. Biggest game changer? Tracking my calories. Once I knew what I was eating, progress became real.
