Here’s what I mean 🤭👇🏼

What I used to believe & do:

There was only ONE time of day for workouts, at the butt crack of dawn. No exceptions.

Early mornings over sleep.

Training on an empty stomach.

Must get workouts done before kids wake bc it’s the only “me time” (literally had so many meltdown to the hubby when the seasons changed, we had more kids, etc)

What I believe now:

There is no “perfect” time of day for workouts, the schedules & seasons are always changing & we have to learn to adapt!

SLEEP should be the #1 priority!! I wish I would’ve realized this in the thick of newborn life… x3 🥱

Training with fuel IN your body gives you energy to work your body!

“Me time” can be a different quiet time of day… it doesn’t HAVE to be at the butt crack of dawn hoping to beat the kids waking (only to get frustrated when they wake anyways 🙄)

And idk if you can tell by the look on my face or the way my BODY is responding; but the new way is the better way ❤️‍🩹I’m happier. I feel leaner. I feel stronger. And my kids will grow up SEEING that wellness matters & taking care of ourselves, matters!

Life is messy & imperfect but it’s ALWAYS going to be 🙏🏼 so please choose to take care of YOU while you take care of those babies around you!!
