Toxic traits indeed ☠️😂
Wow motherhood is wildly humbling isn’t it??
(wouldn’t trade it for the world, obvi 😉🤍)
Being a stay-at-home mom to three little boys comes with its unique quirks and challenges, many of which can feel like "toxic traits" but are really just survival tactics and small ways we cope with the day-to-day chaos. For example, the constant battle of thinking if you don’t check the baby monitor after hearing a noise, maybe your toddler is still peacefully asleep – a hopeful denial that every parent understands. Laundry seems to dominate life; believing that five in the evening is too late to start yet another load, or convincing ourselves that doing four loads in one day will somehow prevent any laundry tomorrow. It’s a never-ending cycle. The Tetris-like skill of fitting every dish perfectly in the dishwasher just to avoid hand washing later is a deceptively creative and time-saving strategy many moms develop. There’s also the universal fantasy of taking a bathroom break without interruption – a luxury when you’re constantly being followed or needed. Planning grocery orders at the start of the week, hoping it will suffice until the next one, only to realize by midweek that you missed something essential, is part of the juggling act. These "toxic traits" aren’t flaws; they are humorous and honest reflections of the deeply humbling experience of motherhood. They create a shared bond among moms who understand the beautiful chaos of managing a household and nurturing little ones. The key is to embrace these moments with laughter and know that you’re not alone. Many fellow moms would agree and probably have a few toxic traits of their own to add to the list! Motherhood can be overwhelming but also incredibly rewarding. Sharing these personal experiences helps build a supportive community where moms can find comfort, humor, and encouragement in their everyday routines.
