From my boy mom diaries 🤍🪽🧸
I’ll never forget those mixed emotions I had when we found out baby #3 was another boy.. 3 under 3.5 and ALL BOYS? 🫣 I was hit with all kinds of emotions
But somewhere along the way everything just made perfect sense. These boys were meant to be brothers. I was meant to be a boy mom… and it’s been the greatest blessing I’ll ever know in this lifetime 😭
It’s chaos nearly 24/7. There’s never any silence. It’s always messy & dirty… AND there’s so much love & laughter, too. What a BLESSING!!
Boy moms, can you relate?! (SHARE if you can & stick around for more relatable motherhood 🤍)
Anything you would add??
Being a mom of three boys under 3.5 years old truly feels like living in a whirlwind of energy and emotions. From my experience, every day is filled with relentless noise—not just talking, but yelling, crashing, wrestling, and those imaginative sound effects that only little boys can create. What surprised me most was how ordinary objects suddenly transform into "weapons"—sticks, toy cars, even forks become part of their play battles. One thing I hadn’t anticipated is the constant state of messiness and dirt. It feels like they are always either starving or covered head to toe in mud, sometimes both at once! Clothes often get thrown aside as if they’re optional, and the house can sound like a WWE ring match until quiet settles only when they finally fall asleep. Despite the chaos, the love is palpable and expressed in the most unique ways—tackling each other or me becomes their way of showing affection. Their sweet protective nature also shines through; no one else can mess with “mommy” or disrupt the brotherly bond they fiercely guard. Through these wild and noisy moments, I’ve seen my heart expand in ways I never imagined. The challenges of raising boys come with unmatched rewards—laughter, connection, and life lessons all wrapped into the beautiful journey of boy mom life. For fellow boy moms, what unexpected joys or struggles have you found along the way? Sharing our stories brings comfort and community in this adventure.

as another sahm of 3 little boys, 6, 2 and 1 years old, I wholeheartedly agree with every single one of these... especially the like protectors...my 2 year old full on fights anyone who messes with me or his brothers..like if it's his brother attacking me or Daddy's tickling me..he starts yelling and pushing and then stands in front of me with his arms out to the sides as if to block anyone from coming near me lol..and then once he's done that he comes up to me and asks if I'm ok and cuddles me lol..it is Soo adorable I love it...my little protector 🩵🩵
