We have two choices:
It happens inside.
Or it happens outside.
And I choose the latter bc at least I also get some nice vitamin d, sunshine & fresh air (to try & find patience lolol)
Anyone relate? 😅
Idk if it’s like extra intense since we’re also dealing with three small BOYS or what? lol

As a mom juggling the energy and demands of three small boys, I’ve found that choosing to spend our time outdoors isn’t just about getting fresh air; it’s a lifesaver for mental clarity and patience. The daily challenge of managing active children can be intense—especially when they all need attention at once, and the chaos feels overwhelming. But stepping outside shifts the dynamic. The natural light and space allow them to explore and expend energy safely while I recharge through the calming effects of nature. Vitamin D from sunshine plays a vital role not only in my own mood but in the boys’ health, supporting their immune system and growth. Plus, being outside often opens opportunities for creative play and learning moments—like observing nature, playing games, or simply enjoying the unpredictability of the outdoors. I’ve also discovered that these outdoor moments bring a quieter kind of connection, where patience grows because the environment encourages exploration rather than confinement. This approach is especially important with boys, who often have boundless energy that can be challenging to channel indoors. Whether it’s a quick walk, playground time, or backyard adventures, choosing “outside” has become my go-to strategy for managing motherhood honestly and joyfully. If any other stay-at-home moms resonate with the struggle of boy mom life or simply need a little encouragement to choose outdoor moments as a respite, I highly recommend embracing the sunshine and fresh air. It’s not just good for the kids—it’s essential for a mom’s sanity too!
