Vents:)
sorry I didn't post or respond the last months #mentalhealthmatters #vent
Mental health often remains an invisible battle for many individuals. I have personally experienced moments when expressing my feelings was met with responses like, "You're so dramatic, get up and do something with your life." Such remarks can be incredibly invalidating and discouraging when all you want is some understanding and support. Over time, I’ve learned that mental health struggles are not simply about being sad or tired; they can affect your entire perception of the world and your ability to function daily. When people dismiss these struggles, it makes it even harder to reach out for help. I found that sharing honestly in supportive spaces—whether online communities or trusted friends—has been crucial for me. It helps reduce the isolation many feel. One key takeaway from my experience is the importance of patience and self-compassion. Progress is not always linear, and setbacks don’t mean failure. If you’re going through similar feelings, know that it’s okay to vent, to say you’re not okay, and to seek help from professionals or trusted individuals who truly listen. Remember, mental health matters, and your feelings are valid.
