Day 3 of Bee Girl
Okay… The Doux can have my coins! This curl custard might just be my holy grail. I can’t wait to separate the curls and fluff.
How long do you go before refreshing your wash and go? I’m hoping this can last me a little over a week 🤞🏽

Okay, so you saw my initial post about The Doux Honey Curl Custard, and I just had to share more about why I’m so excited about it! This product, properly known as the BEE SUPER-CHABOIN HONEY GIRL CURL CUSTARD, has quickly become a standout in my routine. When I first tried it, I was immediately impressed by its texture – it's thick enough to feel substantial but glides through my curls without being sticky. The scent is absolutely divine, a subtle, sweet honey fragrance that isn't overpowering. For my wash and go, I typically start with freshly washed and conditioned hair that's still dripping wet. I section my hair and apply a generous amount of the Honey Curl Custard to each section, making sure to distribute it evenly from root to tip. I find using a praying hands method followed by a gentle scrunch helps to clump my curls beautifully and ensure every strand is coated. This custard gives amazing slip, which makes detangling a breeze and helps define my natural curl pattern. Now, the big question: how to make that wash and go last beyond a couple of days? That's always the challenge for us curly girls, right? To push past Day 3 and hopefully make it to a full week, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. First, my nighttime routine is non-negotiable. I usually pineapple my hair loosely on top of my head and sleep on a satin pillowcase or wear a satin bonnet. This significantly reduces frizz and helps maintain curl definition. For refreshing on Day 2 or 3, I try to avoid adding too much extra product if I can. Instead, I lightly mist my hair with water, focusing on areas that have lost definition. Sometimes, I'll add just a tiny dab of the Honey Curl Custard or a lightweight foam to reactivate the curls, gently scrunching upwards. If my hair feels a bit dry, a quick spritz of a leave-in conditioner diluted with water works wonders. Another tip is to avoid touching your hair too much once it's dry and set. The more you play with it, the more frizz you invite! I also find that sleeping with my hair in a looser pineapple or even just a high bun helps to stretch the curls slightly, preventing them from getting too squashed. This BEE SUPER-CHABOIN HONEY GIRL CURL CUSTARD truly shines in its ability to hold definition without making my hair crunchy. It leaves my curls feeling soft, bouncy, and moisturized, which is key for longevity. I’m still experimenting to see if I can consistently hit that week-long mark, but so far, The Doux is giving me the best shot!
