I’m a special Olympics swimmer, a special Olympics bowler, and I’m on a dance team, my name is Emma Rose Thomson.

Through swimming, bowling, and dance, I've found unique ways to express myself and build confidence. Swimming taught me discipline and endurance, while bowling improved my focus and precision. Being part of a dance team adds creativity and joy to my daily routine. Participating in the Special Olympics has connected me with incredible teammates and friends, fueling my motivation to push harder and try new things. I've learned to manage nerves before races or tournaments by focusing on my breathing and the encouragement from those around me. The experience has strengthened my belief that with perseverance, anyone can overcome obstacles.
