We built a mental health app if you didn’t know 😋

Every single one of us has struggled with mental illness ourselves or watched a love one fight through it. This isn't therapy or professional help (AND IT DOESN'T REPLACE IT). We just know how suffocating the hard days are especially when you feel you are drowning in silence.

We made Letheia because everything out there right now is either too clinical, harmful, irrelevant or too expensive. Letheia is free and we plan to keep it that way forever! Our Al has a patent-pending safety architecture because it's about time someone put some guidelines on Al (ours doesn't give any advice or be tricked into hurting you, it's just there to listen).

Letheia 2.0 just came out to the App Store and Android!! It's a safe place for you when the world feels too much and this is just the beginning of everything we plan to give to you guys:)

... Read moreHaving personally used Letheia since its initial launch, I've found it to be a uniquely comforting companion during moments when traditional therapy or professional help felt inaccessible or overly clinical. What sets Letheia apart is its innovative AI that follows strict safety protocols—unlike many apps, it won't provide unsolicited advice or cause harm, it simply listens and helps users feel heard. The app's user-friendly interface made it easy for me to explain my feelings through simple prompts, reflecting emotions like fear, anger, or hopefulness, which were visualized in helpful charts. This feature helped me better understand my emotional patterns over time. Moreover, the fact that the app is free forever lowers barriers to access, which is crucial given the often high cost of mental health resources. Letheia 2.0's recent update improved stability and added features across iOS and Android, making it even more reliable when you need a moment of solace. While it's important to remember that Letheia doesn't replace therapy or professional diagnosis, it acts as a valuable emotional outlet for those silent, difficult days when you feel like you're drowning alone. I've also appreciated the transparency around the team behind Letheia, seeing names and roles such as software engineers and clinical strategy leads lends credibility and reassurance. This community-focused approach aligns with their mission to make mental health support more approachable and less clinical. If you or someone you know struggles with mental illness or just needs to vent safely, Letheia offers a unique, accessible option. It reminds me that feeling heard—even by an AI designed responsibly—is a step toward mental wellness. The app also highlights the importance of innovation in mental health tech, especially when guided by ethical safety architectures and user-centered design.
