LIPPIE REVIEW 💄✨
Saw the cutest star face lip balm today at cvs and had to grab it! I didn’t know this brand made lip products so I was excited to see if it was any good. They had two out of the four flavors at the store and I got the pink one because it was so cute. Here’s my review!
Item: STARFACE lip balm in STARFRUIT
💰Price: $7
⭐️Overall rating: 4/5
👍Pros: super moisturizer and left my lips super soft. Kept my lips hydrated for a long time. No tint so it’s perfect for everyday.
🤔Cons: wayyyy smaller than I thought it was gonna be and on the pricier side :( also not a huge fan of the starfruit scent I think I would have preferred the vanilla one.

Okay, so let's dive even deeper into this little Starface gem! When I first spotted this pink lip balm at CVS, my inner magpie just had to have it. Not only is the packaging super aesthetic, but seeing that iconic Starface smiley face on the balm itself? Adorable! It definitely lives up to the 'SO CUTE' vibe. I even snapped a pic in my car interior – it just looked so good against the dashboard, haha. Beyond the cuteness factor, I was genuinely curious about its performance. The original review mentioned it's 'super moisturizing' and kept lips 'hydrated for a long time.' I can totally second that! For me, it felt like a protective barrier, especially when I was out and about. My lips, which can get pretty dry, genuinely felt softer and less chapped throughout the day. I noticed I wasn't reaching for it constantly, which is a big win in my book for a hydrating lip balm. The no-tint aspect is also a huge plus for me; it means I can throw it on without a mirror and not worry about a messy application. It's truly an everyday staple. Now, about those cons. The size was indeed smaller than I anticipated. When you hold it, it feels quite petite. But then again, maybe that's part of its charm – it slips into any mini bag or pocket easily. As for the price, $7 for a small lip balm might seem a bit steep to some, but considering how well it performed in terms of hydration and longevity, I'd say it offers good value for money. It's not an impulse buy you regret; it's a solid, functional beauty item. My main personal hang-up was the Starfruit scent. While it's not *bad*, it wasn't my favorite. If you're sensitive to scents or prefer something more subtle, you might want to try other flavors if you can find them. I really wish my CVS had the vanilla one, as I usually gravitate towards those. It's a personal preference, of course! Curiosity got the better of me, and I even peeked at what others are saying online, especially on platforms like Reddit. It seems like the Starface lip balm generally gets a lot of love for its cute packaging and effective hydration. Many users rave about how gentle it is and how it helps with chapped lips without feeling sticky. Some echo my thoughts on the scent variety, with vanilla and mint being popular choices. There are occasional mentions of the size/price, but the consensus leans towards its effectiveness making it worthwhile. It's definitely a product that sparks joy for many! If you're on the hunt for a new hydrating lip balm and adore cute packaging, this pink Starface lip balm is definitely worth considering. It’s perfect for everyday use, especially if you need consistent moisture without any fuss. For those who might want to explore beyond Starface, there are other fantastic options like Laneige Lip Glowy Balm or Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm which offer similar hydrating benefits, though often at a higher price point. But for a charming, effective, and accessible option you can grab at CVS, this little star-faced friend holds its own.
