She's getting bigger
Only had her a month and she has gotten so big compared to when I first got her 🙂 Her service training is going well too. She follows on or off leash and knows some simple commands.

Having a service dog that progresses well in just a month is truly rewarding. From my experience, the key to successful training lies in consistency and positive reinforcement. Teaching your dog to follow commands on and off leash not only ensures safety but also builds a strong bond between you and your furry companion. In my case, I noticed a significant change not only in her size but also in her behavior and responsiveness. Early stages of training focus heavily on simple commands like "sit," "stay," and "come," which she mastered quickly. Progressing from there to more complex service tasks requires patience and adapting to the dog's pace. An interesting tip I found helpful is integrating everyday situations into training sessions. For example, using leash walks to reinforce heel and recall commands helped her understand real-life applications. Moreover, providing emotional support through her presence has made a meaningful impact on my daily life, confirming why emotional support animals are so important. It's important to remember that every service dog has unique needs and growth patterns. Observing changes carefully and celebrating small milestones can keep the motivation high for both the owner and the dog. As she grows, her strength and focus increase, making her more effective in her role. Remember to provide plenty of mental stimulation along with physical exercise. Puzzle toys, obedience drills, and calm socialization moments are invaluable. Combining these elements ensures your service dog, like mine, not only grows bigger but also smarter and more attentive to your needs.
