Wow, it feels like just yesterday I was a freshman, and now there are only three weeks left of college! It’s a bittersweet feeling, truly. This place, these people, the late-night study sessions, the unforgettable traditions – it all feels so precious now. If you’re also staring down your final weeks, you're probably feeling a whirlwind of emotions. I wanted to share a few thoughts on how I’m trying to make the most of every single moment, because let's be real, it goes by way too fast. Firstly, soak it all in. I’ve been trying to revisit my favorite spots on campus – the library study nooks, the peaceful arboretum, even just a walk through the main quad. Every corner holds a memory. I'm also making an effort to spend quality time with my friends. We're planning a few last dinners out, grabbing coffee, and just reminiscing about all our adventures, big and small. These are the connections I’ll cherish forever. One of the biggest highlights for me, and something I’ll definitely miss, is participating in events like THON®. For anyone unfamiliar, THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, raising money for pediatric cancer. The energy, the dedication, the sheer heart poured into that weekend – it’s an experience that truly defines Penn State for so many of us. I remember spending countless hours fundraising, seeing the vibrant colors, hearing the roar of the crowd, and feeling that incredible sense of community. It's moments like those, the collective spirit for a cause bigger than ourselves, that truly make college special. Reflecting on THON® makes me realize how much we’ve grown and contributed during our time here. Beyond the emotional goodbyes, there’s also a practical side to these final weeks. I’m slowly starting to pack, but more importantly, I’m trying to organize my digital life – backing up photos, saving important notes, and making sure I have contact info for everyone I want to stay in touch with. It also feels like a good time to start thinking about life post-graduation. What are my next steps? Am I ready for the 'real world'? It's a bit daunting but also exciting. For anyone in the same boat, remember to be kind to yourself. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, sad, excited, or a mix of everything. This is a huge transition! Take plenty of photos, write down memories, and don't be afraid to reach out to friends and faculty who have made an impact. These last three weeks are a unique chapter, and I’m determined to close it with gratitude and an open heart for what comes next. What are your must-dos for your last few weeks of college?
