You need to go and pre-order a copy of *Heir of the Emberscale* by Shelby Gardner immediately! If your vibe is anything like *Throne of Glass* or *Fourth Wing*, or if you enjoyed the thrill and chase of *From Blood and Ash*, this is your next dark romantasy read. The book is spicy but totally plot-driven, and the characters are written remarkably well. I found myself genuinely unable to put it down! This book had me giggling like a teenager and kicking my legs in excitement—seriously, I was practically doing cartwheels! I was so hooked that I couldn’t put it down, even when my motherly duties were calling. Who knew that laundry could wait when there’s a gripping story to devour? Sorry, kids, but Mom’s on a literary adventure!

If you decide to pre-order, it goes on sale on New Year's Day, and I can't think of a better way to kick off the year than with this captivating read. It will leave you wanting more, and I promise you won't regret diving into this enchanting world. Don't miss out!
