Welcome Charlotte

Poor girl was crying for food, and just wouldn’t leave us alone after getting food and just wanted all the love and attention. Can’t wait to see how many babies she has!

We plan to spay her after she has the babies and decide from there if we plan to keep a baby, keep her, or what our plan is.

... Read moreFinding and caring for a pregnant cat like Charlotte can be a deeply rewarding experience. When a cat is pregnant, she needs extra nutrition and gentle care to ensure both her health and that of her future kittens. Providing a safe, calm environment, along with regular small meals rich in protein, helps support her through pregnancy. Additionally, it’s important to plan for her post-birth care. Spaying the cat after her kittens are weaned helps prevent unwanted litters and contributes to controlling the cat population in your community. This also benefits the cat’s long-term health by reducing the risk of certain cancers. Deciding whether to keep some of the kittens or the mother cat involves considering factors such as your capacity for care, living arrangements, and commitment to their welfare. When adopting out kittens, it is essential to find responsible owners who can provide a loving home. Community members can support by spreading awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, providing resources for animal rescues, and offering fosters or adoption opportunities. By welcoming cats like Charlotte into our homes and hearts, we help reduce stray populations and give these deserving animals a chance at a better life.
