Some need wake up some wants to become delusional
In life, we often face moments where we can either choose to wake up to the reality around us or slip into comforting delusions. Embracing vulnerability, as highlighted by the hashtag #embracevulnerability, is a powerful way to confront truths that might initially seem uncomfortable but ultimately lead to growth. From my experience, choosing to be vulnerable allows a deeper connection with oneself and others. It means accepting imperfections, acknowledging fears, and being honest about one’s feelings and thoughts. While delusion may offer a temporary escape from pain or reality, it can prevent us from achieving true self-awareness and resilience. The concept of 'PLAY Delusion' suggests a mindset where indulging in illusions might feel like a safe choice. However, constantly choosing delusion can limit our potential and create barriers to authentic relationships. Awakening involves courage—a readiness to face life's complexities and uncertainties head-on. Practicing vulnerability can be as simple as sharing your true feelings with trusted friends or reflecting honestly on your goals and challenges. Over time, this practice fosters emotional strength and a clearer understanding of what truly matters. The balance between waking up and retreating into delusion is personal and ongoing, but leaning towards vulnerability is a step toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
