deadass เป็นสแลงที่เจอบ่อยในบทสนทนาชีวิตประจำวัน (แนว General everyday slang) โดยความหมายหลักๆ คือ “Seriously / For real” ใช้เพื่อ “ย้ำว่าเราพูดจริง” หรือ “ย้ำความหนักแน่นของประโยค” ให้ฟังชัดว่าไม่ได้เล่นๆ ไม่ได้พูดขำๆ 1) deadass แปลว่าอะไร (แบบเข้าใจง่าย) - แปลแบบไทยๆ ได้ว่า: “จริงดิ/เอาจริงนะ/เรื่องจริง/จริงจัง” - หน้าที่ในประโยคมักเป็นคำวิเศษณ์ (adverb) ที่ช่วยเน้นความจริงหรือความมั่นใจในสิ่งที่พูด 2) ใช้ deadass ยังไงให้เป็นธรรมชาติ ก. ใช้เป็นคำตอบเดี่ยวๆ เพื่อยืนยันว่า “พูดจริง” - A: You met him in person? B: Are we deadass? (จริงดิ? พูดจริงเหรอ) - A: They canceled the concert. B: Are we deadass right now?
