การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษด้วยการดูซีรี่ย์อย่าง Friends ถือเป็นวิธีที่สนุกและได้ผลมาก เพราะเราได้ฝึกทั้งฟัง พูด และเข้าใจบริบทภาษาที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันจริงๆ ที่สำคัญคือเนื้อหาที่เป็นซีนสั้นๆ ไม่ยาวจนเกินไป ทำให้เราไม่รู้สึกเครียดในการเรียน ในซีรี่ย์ Friends มีหลายซีนที่น่าสนใจ เช่น ซีนที่ใช้ประโยคว่า "Have got ... going on" ซึ่งแปลว่า มีบางอย่างเด่นชัดอยู่ เช่น "He's got a cool vibe going on" หมายถึง เขามีฟีลเท่ๆ อยู่ หรือคำว่า "mouth something" ที่หมายถึง พยายามขยับปากพูดโดยไม่มีเสียง เหมือนในซีน "I mouthed 'help me' at my friend during the test" นอกจากนี้ยังมีวลีอย่าง "Have a hard time" ที่แปลว่า ทำอะไรยากหรือลำบาก เช่น "She has a hard time understanding English" เหล่านี้เป็นสิ่งที่พบได้ในชีวิตประจำวันทั่วไป ทำให้เราสามารถนำไปใช้ได้จริงและช่วยเพิ่มความมั่นใจเวลาพูดภาษาอังกฤษ การที่ซีรี่ย์ Friends เป็นสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในชีวิตจริงๆ ทำให้เราสามารถจำและเรียนรู้ภาษาได้ง่ายขึ้น และเมื่อฝึกพูดตามซ้ำจากซีนสั้นๆ บน HBO MAX หรือยูทูปช่อง HBO MAX ก็ช่วยให้เราออกเสียงได้ชัดเจนและถูกต้องมากขึ้น จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษด้วยวิธีนี้ช่วยให้รู้สึกไม่เบื่อและพัฒนาทักษะได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ค่อยๆ ฝึกวันละนิดวันละหน่อย ก็เห็นผลจริง ภาษาอังกฤษพัฒนาขึ้นแน่นอนแบบชิวๆ และยังมีความสุขกับการเรียนอีกด้วย
