Let’s talk about my Oura ring!!

I’ve had my Oura ring for a week and I already LOVE IT! If you’re thinking about getting one, GET IT!

The main reason I decided to get my ring was for the menstrual cycle tracker. In February I decided to get off my birth control pill. I had been on the pill for 6+ years and I struggled with it the whole time. I had to change kinds multiple times because of different reasons. I ultimately just hated how I felt on birth control. I never had depression or anxiety before birth control. So I decided to hop off the pill.

After 2/3 months of just trying to figure out my menstrual cycle by myself I gave in and bought the ring! The Natural Cycle app is the only FDA approved app to track cycles. I’m hoping after my first period with my ring the app becomes more accurate! The app will show you your “green” and “red” days….when it’s safe for you to not use protection vs protection.

Another big reason I got the ring was to track my sleep. I currently have an Apple Watch, but we all know how crappy their batteries are so I have to charge it every night. The ring’s battery lasts roughly about a week. I’ve really struggled with my sleeping. I have been on sleeping medication for a couple years. So I’ve enjoyed seeing what my sleep score is every morning…even though I still take 1-2 sleeping pills.

Hopefully within another week my app will have my stress levels figured out and I can talk more about that! For the fitness side of the ring, I only really look at my calories and see what it says compared to my Apple Watch. I plan to still use my Apple Watch for more of the fitness side of things.

All and all I have loved my Oura ring so far! I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, ask them! I’ll try and help❤️🤍

I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks now and I love it. It’s more accurate than the Apple watch and as your state the battery is horrible on the Apple Watch. One reason why I love my Oura ring is for the sleep tracker
