She's such a complex and powerful character, and bringing her to life was a fantastic challenge that I truly enjoyed. For her signature long dark hair and bangs, I opted for a high-quality wig that I styled myself. Getting the bangs to frame the face perfectly makes a huge difference in achieving her characteristic look, adding to that mysterious aura she carries. And let's not forget the smaller but equally important details! I made sure to add black nail polish and some subtle rings to really complete the 'Ultimate Assassin' aesthetic. Finding the right prop that matched her weapon's silhouette was a fun scavenger hunt! When it came to posing, I really tried to channel Maki's stoic and sometimes intimidating demeanor. I practiced some of her signature stances, often with one hand near my face to convey her thoughtfulness or readiness. The way she carries herself is so distinct, and I aimed to capture that quiet intensity. It's not just about wearing the costume, but becoming the character for those moments. Thinking about her personality – reserved, strong, and a bit distrustful at first – helped me bring an emotional depth to the photos.
