99 Days left!! Second day in the gym and by whole body is extremely sore 😅….definitely a good sore! It feels so nice being in the gym! I’m crossing my fingers that tomorrow goes a lot smoother with the girls at the day care so we can get a full workout in!

Embarking on a fitness challenge with a countdown of 99 days really adds a sense of urgency and motivation to my workouts. On my second day at the gym, the soreness I feel throughout my whole body is a sign I’m pushing myself beyond my comfort zone, which feels incredibly rewarding. Getting back into the gym after some time away, especially as a stay-at-home mom, is always a balancing act with family responsibilities. One of the biggest challenges I’ve encountered is coordinating gym time around the daycare schedule for my girls. When daycare runs smoothly, I can focus entirely on my workout and maximize the time I have. Those sessions where I can give my full attention to exercising tend to be the most productive and energizing. It also helps with fitness motivation, knowing that each workout brings me closer to my weight loss goals. Weightlifting has become a particularly empowering part of my routine. As a mom who lifts weights, I find strength and confidence in building muscle, which not only helps with fat loss but also improves overall health and stamina for daily mom life. The soreness from resistance training, while sometimes challenging, is an encouraging reminder that my body is adapting and growing stronger. Throughout this journey, connecting with others in the #weightloss and #fitnesscommunity has kept me inspired and accountable. Sharing experiences with other moms and fitness enthusiasts keeps me motivated and grounded. If you’re starting your own challenge, remember that feeling sore is often a sign of progress, and managing family commitments alongside workouts is a skill you can develop. My advice to fellow moms embarking on a similar fitness journey is to be patient and kind to yourself. Celebrate the small victories, like showing up consistently at the gym, and build a routine that fits your unique lifestyle. The journey is not just about achieving a goal in 99 days but about cultivating lifelong healthy habits and confidence.
