All Star Music Resort
Hey fellow Disney lovers! I just had the most incredible time staying at Disney's All-Star Music Resort in Florida, and I absolutely have to share my experience with you all. If you're looking for that magical Disney vibe without breaking the bank, this value resort is a fantastic option nestled in the heart of Orlando. From the moment I arrived, the vibrant music-themed decor immediately put a smile on my face. Walking through giant instrument-themed areas like Calypso, Jazz Inn, Rock Inn, Country Fair, and Broadway Hotel was so much fun, and it really adds to the immersive Disney atmosphere. Each section celebrates a different musical genre, making it a unique and playful environment. My room, a standard room in the Rock Inn section, was clean, comfortable, and had just enough space for my family. We especially loved the little Disney touches throughout the decor, from subtle character art to musical motifs. While the rooms are basic, they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a mini-fridge to keep your drinks cool. Just remember, standard rooms don't typically have coffee makers, but you can always grab a fresh cup at the food court! One of the biggest perks of staying here is the ease of transportation. Disney's complimentary bus service takes you directly to all the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. While sometimes there's a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, I found it to be super convenient and reliable. My tip is to factor in an extra 20-30 minutes for travel time to ensure you arrive at the parks ahead of your Genie+ or dining reservations. The bus stops are well-marked and usually not too far from any of the resort buildings. Dining at Intermission Food Court was surprisingly good for a quick-service spot. They have a wide variety of options, from classic burgers and pizza to pasta, salads, and even some healthier choices, which made it easy to find something for everyone in my group at any time of day. We loved starting our mornings there with some Mickey waffles! Plus, grabbing a refillable mug was a lifesaver for staying hydrated throughout our trip, especially with the Florida heat. And who can resist ordering a late-night pizza delivery right to the room after a spectacular fireworks show? Not me! It’s the perfect way to end a magical day. For relaxation and fun, the resort offers two fantastic pools. The main Calypso Pool, shaped like a giant guitar, was a huge hit with the kids, featuring the iconic Three Caballeros fountain spraying water. It’s a lively spot with plenty of lounge chairs. For a more laid-back experience, the smaller Piano Pool is a quieter option if you want a more peaceful swim or just to relax by the water. There's also a playground for the little ones to burn off some energy and an arcade if you need a break from the Florida sun or want some evening entertainment. Overall, my stay at Disney's All-Star Music Resort was fantastic. It's a great choice for families or anyone wanting to experience the magic of Walt Disney World without the premium price tag of some of the deluxe resorts. It offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, convenient amenities, and that undeniable Disney charm that makes a vacation truly special. I'd definitely recommend it for your next Orlando adventure, especially if you appreciate value and a musical theme!
