... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my initial thoughts about the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise food – and yes, it was genuinely a blast! But I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes the dining experience so special, especially since I know many of you are curious about cruise eats. Forget any negative whispers; my taste buds were on a true vacation!
Let's talk variety first. One of the biggest surprises was the sheer range of options available. For breakfast, beyond the usual buffet, I found some lovely pastries and fresh fruit that were perfect for starting the day. But where Margaritaville Paradise really shines is lunch and dinner.
Those loaded nachos I mentioned? Absolutely divine! Piled high with pulled meat, gooey melted cheese, vibrant salsa verde, fresh diced tomatoes, a dollop of sour cream, and a squeeze of lime – they were the ultimate comfort food, perfect for a casual lunch by the pool or a late-night snack. They truly hit the spot!
For something a bit more refined, the main dining room offered some fantastic options. I recall a perfectly cooked fish fillet served on a bed of fluffy quinoa, beautifully topped with a refreshing fruit salsa and garnished with tangy pickled red onions. It felt light yet satisfying. Another fish dish that stood out was the breaded fish fillet resting on a vibrant green sauce, accompanied by perfectly roasted potatoes and another fresh lime wedge. The flavors were so well-balanced. And for those who prefer meat, there was a delicious dish featuring tender meat (possibly pork or chicken) covered in a rich red sauce, complemented by a colorful fruit salsa, roasted potato wedges, and fresh steamed broccoli. So much flavor in one plate!
Pasta lovers, rejoice! The macaroni pasta, generously topped with grated cheese and black pepper, was pure indulgence. And for seafood enthusiasts, a white bowl of pasta, likely rigatoni, mixed with a creamy sauce and topped with several perfectly seasoned shrimp was a definite highlight.
Now, onto desserts – because what's a vacation without something sweet? There was a unique rectangular dessert with a vibrant green base, a creamy yellow middle layer, and a bright yellow glaze, garnished with red and green accents. It was almost too pretty to eat, but I'm glad I did! And for something truly show-stopping, the meringue-topped dessert, possibly a baked Alaska, revealing layers of ice cream and cake, served with diced fruit, was a spectacular end to a meal.
Even the more exotic options were well-executed. I spotted a plate of sushi rolls, possibly wrapped in an omelet-like layer, topped with crispy fried strands and drizzled with sauce, alongside traditional ginger and wasabi. And for a lighter bite, the grilled meat skewers with fresh herbs, served with a side salad and a small bowl of chili oil, were a great choice.
A little tip for your cruise: Don't be afraid to try everything! The chefs really put thought into the menus. While the ship exterior gives off a fun, casual vibe, the dining can be surprisingly diverse. Make sure to check out all the different venues. Some of the best discoveries are made when you venture beyond the main buffet. Overall, the food on the Margaritaville Paradise Cruise was a significant part of why we had such a fantastic time. It truly exceeded my expectations and added so much to the 'Paradise' experience!
everything looks amazing. ❤️🔥
