go to coat styles 🤎🐻
hi besties!! Fall is here and winter is upon us so let’s talk jackets! I have a TON of jackets because fall and winter is my fav season for fashion but these are the 4 coat styles I think everyone should have one of to have a versatile wardrobe🫶🏻 first is the peet coat, they are so warm, long, and cozy you can find tons of these at the thrift store and there is so many colors 🥰 I thrifted this one that retails for $165 for $6!! Next, is the classic trench coat, beige and usually lighter in material these are perfect for fall when you just need a little extra warmth, these are my coat to in fall but it won’t keep me super warm through the Chicago winters❄️ my personal fav is the puffer coat- I have so many and I loveee puffers because I dress casual most days and the puffer goes with all my casual looks. Leather jackets are a must in my wardrobe, they really can elevate your outfits and give them a super fun, edgy look.. leather jackets are timeless and a super great investment piece for your wardrobe 🥰 til next time, love ya!

Building on my absolute favorite coat styles, I want to dive a little deeper into why these four are truly non-negotiable for a versatile wardrobe and how I really make them work for me every single day. First up, the classic peacoat. You mentioned how warm, long, and cozy they are, and I couldn't agree more! Mine, which I thrifted for a steal, is a long, thick wool blend that is incredibly *suitable for cold weather*. What I love most is its ability to instantly elevate any outfit. For a chic, classy look, I'll pair it with tailored trousers and boots for work, but it's equally versatile thrown over a chunky knit sweater and jeans for a weekend coffee run. Don't be afraid to experiment with different scarf styles to add a pop of color or texture! Then there's the trench coat, my go-to for those unpredictable fall weather days. While it's not made for the bitter Chicago winters, it's ideal for fall and spring's transitional weather. The beauty of a trench lies in its ability to be *styled for both dressed-up and casual looks*. I often wear mine cinched over a simple midi dress and heels for an elegant evening out, or open over a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and sneakers for a relaxed yet polished daytime vibe. A great tip is to play with the belt – tying it in a knot at the back can give a more streamlined silhouette when worn open. My beloved puffer coat gets a special shout-out for its ultimate *warm, cozy, casual vibe*. You're right, it goes with everything casual! I've collected a few, from a cropped one that's super trendy with high-waisted leggings, to an oversized longline puffer that feels like wrapping myself in a cloud. For those really freezing days, I layer my puffer over a thick hoodie or even a lighter jacket for maximum warmth. They're no longer just for outdoor adventures; puffers are a chic statement piece for urban living too! And let's not forget the leather jacket – the timeless piece that adds an edgy, unique, and elevated style to pretty much anything. It’s truly an investment karena kulit berkualitas baik memiliki longevity and offers warmth in winter on milder days. I wear mine year-round! In fall, it's perfect over a delicate floral dress to add some contrast. In winter, I often layer it under a bigger wool coat for extra insulation. Don't limit yourself to just black; a deep brown or burgundy leather jacket can be just as versatile and adds a different warmth to your palette. For those who prefer alternatives, there are incredible faux leather options that look and feel just as good. Finally, when thinking about how to truly maximize your coat wardrobe, especially when considering long coat styles and options like a modern faux shearling or faux fur (which deliver that incredible warmth and cozy feel often associated with mouton coats or traditional fur coats, but with a contemporary twist), remember the power of layering and balancing proportions. If your long coat is oversized or voluminous, try to keep your bottom half more streamlined with slim-fit pants or a pencil skirt. Conversely, if your coat is sleek and tailored, you can play with wider-leg trousers or flowy dresses underneath for a dynamic and stylish ensemble. It’s all about creating an outfit that feels cohesive, comfortable, and uniquely you!

Omg soo beautiful🥰🥰
